Kindergarten Night Flyer[an e-mail I sent to the InterVarsity listserv last night that has garnered some interesting responses.]

So you’re totally thinking, Oh, that Matt, he’s such a stinker. And you’re totally right. But you’ll think that even *more* when you see this flyer that I’ve attached. You’ll think, oh, that Matt, he’s such.. a 5-year-old. And you’re right again! But here’s the deal. You know me. You love me. And you think it’s great to be a 5-year-old. Or, at least a child. 1-2-3 Segue…This Thursday night, InterVarsity is sponsoring Kindergarten Night (Faith Like a Child), a night of fanciful frivolity designed to bring out your inner child in full form. There will be crayons and coloring books, music (think Veggie Tales, people), Story time, games (Thumbs up seven up! AH!), and more. It’s in lieu of a normal meeting, so don’t feel like this is a burden to your schedule. Thursday, September 1st, at 7:30 pm, in the Reitz Union Room 349. It’s gonna be awesome.

I’ve attached a high-resolution version of the flyer. It might make it a little difficult for you to view (hint: save it to your desktop and open it from there) because it’s so big, BUT, that means it’s really high quality if you want to print one out for yourself.. or for your roommate… or that cute guy in your Stats class… or maybe just your fridge. Whatever. You should do it, because it’s fun.

Anyway. This might be the longest IV announcement e-mail that has ever existed. If you’re still reading at this point, cool points to you, because I probably wouldn’t be. :D

Hope to see you all Thursday!
