Everything’s still a little bit crazy…

In response to my previous post.

I love my life. My friends are great. One of them dressed up in a white scooter helmet, red girl’s mini-shorts, and a red tanktop that said “Joe” on the front and “Mamma” on the back, and then ran around Gainesville on a game day (night). Another two of them (married) have hosted me and taken care of me and loved on me and been amazing support to me and showed me how I really want to live my life — and we’ve written amazing songs together. Another few of them live a few hours ago, but give me so much joy when we get to shop randomly for each other in Wal-Mart and talk about music and make decisions on wine (and recommend it) and have great fun there. Others I see all the time but never appreciate enough; some of these make me kill bugs for them. Others I used to see all the time, until they moved away, but we’re forcing ourselves to find chances to hang out and relax and be stupid. Others I just met, who told me all about the wonders of veneers and dad “sleeping” in the back all day during the summer. Some of them love music, some love art, some (most) love Jesus, and all of them love me and treat me far better than I deserve. Some of them live thousands of miles away but support me through whatever means are available to them. They’re all amazing.

And let’s not get started on my Jesus. Suffice it to say that He’s always in control and loves me more than all of these other people combined.

By reading this, you get to see my ups and downs. That last post was a down. There are very few of them, if you’ve noticed. So when it’s been months of up, and you read one down, don’t assume that the worst example must be the most true. It’s just another piece of the puzzle.

I was just thinkin you should be writing songs.

Ate lunch with Berto and Sarah today.
That video made me turn purple I laughed so hard.

And had I not been lazy and visited your blog sooner, I would have given you a hug, even if you are on an upswing.
