Some guy is going around signing up for things under my phone number. I keep getting phone calls for him; credit cards, etc. … There seems to be nothing I can do, so I’ll just complain. Good enough? Good enough.

Ummm… identity theft? Check your credit report, perhaps, and consider taking steps to make sure that the only thing he’s using is your phone number… http://www.annualcreditreport.com/ gives you a free report from the 3 major credit scam, I mean credit report agencies, once a year.
