I’m going to be in Chicago for the Chicago Urban Program for spring break–March 8-13– and it’s forecast to never go above 40 degrees. Unfortunately, I have no winter clothing in Gainesville. Does anyone have a winter coat that’s near my size that I could borrow? I’ll probably buy a scarf and a hat and some gloves (unless someone has those to loan, too) but I just can’t afford a winter coat right now. Thanks. More information about CUP later.

And, OK, yes, I am excited he’s an InterVarsity alum. Not gonna lie.

This long article about an 8-year-old with Down’s Syndrome is worth your time, but at least click through to the post about the Target ad.
The tragedy of removing some religious organizations from campus would not be merely the loss of religious liberty, an enormous and embarrassing loss indeed, but also the tacit admission by the administration that pluralism is not, in the end, a possibility. It’s an admission that, at the end of the day, the university must ask student communities to surrender their particularities to guard against controversy and debate.

Are you guys flying out of orlando? If so I know my dad has a winter coat you could use.
I’m pretty sure he has a hat and gloves too, now that I think of it.
i’ll look. I think I have some gloves from my Kentucky days. remind me before you buy gloves.
nice! i didn’t know that IV sent people across regions to staff urban plunges. that’s exciting.
i know a few GLW people who are staffing CUP (unless they’re doing it a different week than you.) it’s possible that they could have some extra winter clothes that you could borrow. if you want, i can ask.
Hit me up for a jacket and hat. They are right next to your kitchen
You’ve already got a lot of different people responding. But I have a hats, scarf and jackets that you may borrow if you’d like. lol.
Also, Chicago is awesome. Hope you have a good time. I’ll be interested to know what this CUP thing is about.
as for coats…does pink and furry work for you or do you prefer black velvet with studded trim…both are options for the taking, just give me a call.
i knew you would “approve” about immokaleee. now if you could just GO WITH US!!!
